In the morning session the social challenges related to migration were discussed in two sessions. In the first, international experts presented examples in which the challenges have been transformed into opportunities. The second focused on the role of media and social media in framing the narrative on migration and understanding the elements influencing public perception.

During the afternoon session the topic was Health and Migration: national and international Best Practices for health care professionals training in a multicultural context.

The purpose of the day was to share ideas, experiences and solutions to stimulate discussion and mutual learning.
